Founded in 2012 and franchising since 2018, Click IT launched Motherboard, Inc. in 2022 to manage specialized digital services and hold all intellectual property. As the catalyst for industry consolidation, Click IT is expanding nationally to unify a highly fragmented IT services market.
In 2012, Click IT opened its first retail store on Main Street in the heart of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. What began as a web and application development office quickly transformed into the community’s trusted local IT department. With the help of family and friends, founder AL Harlow converted a 19th-century storage room into a modern training center—symbolic of Click IT’s mission: taking something outdated and turning it into something powerful. From those humble beginnings—operating as a Microsoft Certified Partner with a server infrastructure housed in a secure downtown co-location Cleveland facility—Click IT has grown into a dynamic provider of cost-effective IT solutions for both individuals and businesses. Today, our company store monitors and maintains thousands of computers, websites, emails, and devices, serving hundreds of loyal customers in Northeast Ohio.

We opened our first retail location in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, evolving from a web and app development office into the area's trusted IT provider for residents and small businesses.
After years of refinement, we began converting our systems into a scalable franchise model. Despite limited budgets and the challenges of franchise sales, we awarded our first franchise locations in Hailey, Idaho; Marietta, Georgia; and Pleasant Grove, Utah—proving the model’s viability.
To manage digital services requiring specialized expertise, we launched Click IT by Motherboard, a digital agency responsible for hosting, website development, and e-marketing. Motherboard also owns all Click IT intellectual property and is the vehicle through which we are raising capital for national expansion.
